Scientific Papers submitted for oral presentations that cannot be accommodated within the meeting program will be considered and reviewed for a place in the Scientific Exhibits or Educational Exhibits.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the meeting proceedings. The organisers will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via the website or for submission errors caused by internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.

General Policies and Requirements

Abstracts for RANZCR Perth 2010 will be called in January 2010.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the following criteria and the top ranking abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation:

  • Importance of the topic
  • Originality
  • Quality of study design
  • Academic contribution
  • Likelihood of provoking discussion

All abstracts must be original work. An abstract should not be submitted if the work is to be published/presented at a major national or international meeting prior to RANZCR Perth 2010.

The purpose of the abstract is to define the precise subject of the presentation to an audience.

Educational Exhibits

Educational Exhibits should be designed to teach or review radiologic signs, pathologic correlations, procedures, techniques, treatments, and interventions or other aspects related to the practice of imaging.

Submission acknowledges consent to publication of the abstract on the website; all accepted abstracts will be published in the meetings proceedings and maybe published in the association's journal.

The presenting author will be required to register for the meeting in order to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final program.

Please print a copy of the abstract submission form for your records prior to clicking the submit button.

All submissions must be completed electronically via the online submission facility. If you are unable to submit in this manner, please contact EECW Pty Ltd - Meeting Secretariat at info@eecw.com.au or phone: +618 9389 1488 for further information.
